A name chosen deliberately.
The term came to represent leadership founded on influence, responsibility and public duty, extending beyond formal authority.
The name reflects the practice Princeps was established to be: independent in judgement, close enough to understand the decision environment and disciplined enough to strengthen the thinking of those accountable for what follows.
Elie Elia GAICD
Princeps Advisory was founded by Elie Elia after almost three decades working across major infrastructure and organisational initiatives in Australia and internationally.
His experience spans government agencies, asset owners, contractors and multidisciplinary delivery teams, including major procurements, competitive selection processes and high-stakes work-winning strategies.
Working across these perspectives has shaped a practical understanding of how strategic intent, relationships, governance and evidence influence consequential decisions.
Elie established Princeps to bring that judgement to leaders at the moments when direction can still be shaped and consequences can still be influenced.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
